Rally Day
Rally Day is the day that we launch our new program year—Children start up for a new year of Faith Formation, but it's not just what the children are doing. It's about all of our church life together. The choir resumes singing. Small groups like Bible study start up again. Committees return to a regular schedule. It feels good to get back together after a long summer of vacations and trips. It's a time to get excited and invigorated for the year ahead.

2013 Our Journey with God
Last year you were asked to collect water for Rally Day and the year before that, a rock.
This year we want you to take a photo of your favorite pair of shoes , print it out and
write a story of where your shoes walked this summer.

2012--Sharing Living Water
As we return from our summer activities and gather to kick off the new program year of ministry together, we are each invited to bring a small amount of water to pour into some common containers prior to worship. If you have written a reflection about your water and how it speaks of your relationship with God, bring that as well. Worship will be planned to include our children and youth.
2011--Building on the Rock
During your travels this summer, pick up a special rock. It can be small or large. Not traveling this summer? Not a problem. You can find one while walking in the metroparks or maybe in your own backyard. You'll know it’s the one when you find it. Bring it home with you and keep it in a safe place. Then bring it to worship on Rally Day Sunday September 11th,
there will be a time designated during the service when you
will be invited to come forward to place your rock on the worship table to
provide a visual reminder that we are called to build to further God’s realm on
earth. And we aren’t asked to do it alone. We are given a sure foundation on
which to build—The Rock. And we are given a community in which we build
together.
